Vernazza at night Vernazza is one of the 5 centuries-old villages of the Cinque Terre on the rugged Ligurian coast of north-western Italy. The small marina of the village is surrounded by colorful houses. The church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia has a bell tower with dome. The medieval Doria rock castle with a cylindrical tower once served as a defense; directly below lies the bastion Belforte. |
